My name is Tiffany. I have a lot going on at this point in my life. My dog Lola Belle was hit by a car over Thanksgiving in 2010, so I'll be writing quite a bit about her. I'll also be documenting her progress as she begins physical therapy on her Facebook page (facebook.com/LolasJourney)

I also got engaged shortly before Lola's accident. The accident required surgery and pretty much demolished our wedding fund, so I've been researching do-it-yourself ideas. Mostly on flowers (my mother's hobby), invitations (my sisters' hobby), and favors. I've been used to spending whatever on things that I want, so this has been a challenge to find and make things that would be of the same quality that I'm used to.

I'm entering my final semester of college this fall to earn my teaching degree (great timing, huh?). Despite the current situation for teachers, I am still very excited about graduating. I've lived in San Antonio for the past 4 years and have returned home to Houston to complete student teaching in my hometown. As a bilingual teacher, I hope to find some useful resources for my fellow bilingual teachers, as I have found there are so few.
